Dang, today was long. Carving pumpkins, putting up decorations, making ghosts with clues and glow sticks, cooking dinner, and finally the party itself.

Oh yeah, we had a Halloween party for the kids and their friends. They REALLY loved it. I can post some photos later, but those of you who know me and this blog also know that’s unlikely to happen in the next century.

I’m pretty tired, but I need to write. I feel pressure to edit my poetry satisfactorily now. Is that a word? I don’t have to get up early tomorrow, so I’m going to force myself to write.

Tomorrow I’m going to Utrecht, and when I get back I want to make a Queen of Hearts (card) costume for going out Monday. I’m going back to Rotterdam to visit my friend and some of his friends from Portugal who are visiting. He’s Portuguese, by the way. I’m planning/saving to visit there in April!

Oh actually… did I even mention that I was visiting a friend in Rotterdam? I feel like I didn’t. Well anyway, one of my roommates from my semester abroad lives in Rotterdam, like an hour away from where I live, so I went to visit him like all day Thursday. It’s so cool to see him. People from Hull just make me feel warm.

Guten nacht!
